Being a member of the Gallatin High School Spirit Squad offers a unique opportunity for personal growth, leadership and involvement in diverse activities. The attitude, dedication, and enthusiasm of the squad members are just as important as the high level, elite skills involved. Coaches and members of the Raptors spirit squad are committed to the highest level of athleticism, performance, self-discipline, respect for others, personal exemplary conduct and the performance of all responsibilities related to the pursuit of spirit and pride through Cheer and Dance.

APPLICANT QUESTIONNAIRE
Please fill out and submit the attached applicant questionnaire. Responses will help guide interview questions as well as collect the best way to contact you regarding tryout results.
CHEER CONSTITUTION AGREEMENT
Please read the Cheer Constitution in its entirety. It is imperative that you and your Legal Guardian agree to all of its contents. Gallatin Cheer is a HUGE commitment and we need to ensure that all members are equally committed to the program.
CANDIDATE SIGNATURE PAGES
Please sign each of the attached pages and either return hard copies to Coach Suarez no later than Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at tryouts or send digital copies to no later than Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 9pm.
COMMUNITY RECOMMENDATION
Please select a member of the community, outside of school, to fill out the attached form. This can be a coach, church leader, etc. Please have them return it to no later than Wednesday, Sept 2nd at 9pm.

COACH SUAREZ
Head Coach
Coach Suarez grew up in Missoula and is a 5th generation Montanan. She was a cheerleader and Captain at Missoula Sentinel High School and Co-Ed Captain at Montana State University. She was also Captain of two semi-pro cheer and dance teams in Montana and Washington State. She competed in UCA College Co-Ed Nationals and has choreographed for high school, all-star, and college cheer and dance teams. She coached competitive co-ed high school cheerleading in Washington for 10 years and saw several teams go on to win state titles as well as several cheer athletes go on to receive college cheerleading scholarships. She was an active member of the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association and Washington State Cheer Judges Association where she was a Head Judge and judged state cheerleading competitions in Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
COACH HANNAH
Assistant Cheer Coach
Coach Hannah is from Helena, Montana and is going into her senior year at Montana State University studying Elementary Education to become a teacher. She was a competitive gymnast for 17 years and is a 4-year veteran team member for the Montana State Co-Ed Cheer team. She competed and qualified for state, regional and national gymnastics titles and has attended nationals three years in a row. She has since graduating high school, coached gymnastics for 3 years.
COACH AJAH
Assistant Dance Coach
Coach Ajah is a college junior from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She is studying Early Childhood Education with a minor in Spanish, at Montana State University, in hopes of becoming a Spanish-Immersion Kindergarten teacher. Ajah has danced competitively for 7 years, was a member of the Eden Prairie Dance Team, and danced two years collegiately for MSU. She has taught studio dancers of all ages for three years and choreographed many competition routines. Ajah was also a dancer in the Superbowl 52 halftime performance with Justin Timberlake.
